BromBeck Hockey Club – August column

Bromley and Beckenham ladies pre-season training is now in full swing with head coach, Mark Robinson and strength and conditioning coach, Billy Green, beginning to put their plans for the season ahead in to action.

At present all of the ladies section are training together and it was great to see over 30 people at the first stick and ball session on Monday with representatives right through from the 1s to the 5s and a couple of ‘Back to Hockey’ graduates.

Going forwards stick and ball training will run every Monday for the whole of the ladies section and every Wednesday for the ladies 1s and 2s specifically. Both sessions will be from 7.15pm to 9pm at Langley Park Girls School and are open to all members old and new.

We have a busy pre-season fixture list, beginning on August 31 we are holding a Family Fun Day at Langley Park Girls School. This will be running from 10am to 5pm with a BBQ, Bouncy Castle, kit for sale and will feature six games of hockey, including seeing the National League mens 1s and ladies 1s in action for the first time this season.

We are always on the lookout for new members and cater for all standards. Please check out our website for further details – http://www.brombeckhc.co.uk/ and/or follow us on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram (@brombeckhc).
