Police launch appeal following fatal motorcycle crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a motorcyclist died following a collision in Beckenham last week.

At around 9.50pm on Friday, 10 November 2017, police were flagged down at a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist and a car in Village Way near the junction with Uplands.

The London Ambulance Service attended and the 30-year-old male rider of the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene.

His next of kin have been notified and a post-mortem examination will be scheduled in due course.

Officers from the Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are investigating.
