Beckenham RFC – March column

With only three games left, our Mens 1st XV remain seven points clear at the top of London Two South East.

We play an expansive, high tempo, attacking brand of rugby and anyone paying a trip to Beckenham RFC on Saturday, March 23 and / or April 6 to see our home games against Old Colfeians and Gravesend will not be disappointed; and the bar is always open.

We kick off at 3pm and would love to see you all down at the BRFC Clubhouse (Balmoral Avenue, Beckenham, BR3 3RD). Rugby is always the winner!

We’re always on the look-out for new players; Men, Ladies, Boys and Girls. We want to share our great game, its values and standards as well as the cracking atmosphere, fantastic coaching and wonderful facilities on offer at Beckenham RFC.

Whether you’re two or 52, male or female, there’s a place for you with us. Please do get in touch with us either through the web-site or pop down to training.

Senior training is on Tuesdays and Thursdays (7.30-9pm) and youth training on Sundays from 10am. The bar is open, we have big screen TVs, a café serving lovely food and a coffee shop (with cakes and cookies). Something for everyone; so come on down.

We’re 125 years young in October 2019 and to ensure we’re around for another 125 we’ve embarked on an infrastructure project to further improve our facilities.

On April 6 we’re holding a fundraising auction at the clubhouse after our final home match of the season versus Gravesend. The match starts at 3pm and the auction at 5pm. If you would like to donate a prize / make a donation please get in touch with us at 125@beckenhamrfc.com.

We’re your rugby club, Beckenham RFC, the Blue and Gold. One Club, Our Club.
